{"id":4461,"date":"2022-06-29T11:15:46","date_gmt":"2022-06-29T11:15:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/krsdigiarc.com\/?post_type=person&#038;p=4461"},"modified":"2022-06-29T11:23:10","modified_gmt":"2022-06-29T11:23:10","slug":"axelin-knut-emil","status":"publish","type":"person","link":"https:\/\/krsdigiarc.com\/en\/person\/axelin-knut-emil\/","title":{"rendered":"Axelin, Knut Emil"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Emil Axelin was born in Kristinestad on May 19, 1864 and he was the son of Otto Wilhelm Axelin, who was born in B\u00f6tom in 1827 and who died in Kristinestad in 1865, when Emil was only one year old. Emil&#8217;s mother Maria Lovisa (1829-1896) was born in H\u00e4meenlinna. Maria Lovisa was the daughter of Emanuel Carlstr\u00f6m (1797-1833) and Maria Eleonora (b.1796). Maria Eleonora had had an illegitimate son Carl Emil Carlstr\u00f6m (1818-1889) before she married Axelin. C. E. Carlstr\u00f6m then became one of the major businessmen in Kristinestad and who later became the father of the commercial council <a href=\"https:\/\/krsdigiarc.com\/person\/carlstrom-carl-emil\/\">Alfred Carlstr\u00f6m<\/a>. Emil Axelin was thus a half-cousin of the commercial councilor Alfred Carlstr\u00f6m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emil started his business career with his uncle <a href=\"https:\/\/krsdigiarc.com\/person\/carlstrom-carl-emil\/\">Carl Emil Carlstr\u00f6m<\/a> as a sales clerk and he also lived in his farm on plot no. 129 or Strandgatan 36. After Carl Emil&#8217;s death in 1889, the company C. E.
