The main building was built in 1859 by the workman Johan H\u00e4ggstr\u00f6m. The residential building on the farm in Jugendstil is said to be from 1904. From 1873 to 1929, the farm was first owned by the fisherman Berg and later by his widow Maria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building history<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 1887<\/strong>, according to the fire insurance policy, there were three houses on the farm (see the plan below). Of these, the farmhouse remains today (2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. A log farmhouse in good condition built in 1859. Boarded and painted with composition paint under a roof of pertor. The house, which is 26 1\/2 cubits long, 14 1\/4 cubits wide and 13 cubits high from the ground to the roof ridge, consists of one floor with six living rooms, anteroom and porch, contains together four tiled stoves, the second with a baking oven.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Outbuildings from 1884 containing a food shed, two sheds, a hay barn, anteroom, sheep shed and latrine with a manure cat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Outbuilding from 1886 containing two tool rooms.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    In 1901<\/strong>, the outbuilding that is on the farm today (2025) was built, while the two outbuildings along the southern plot boundary have disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. The farmhouse has now been roofed with asphalt felt and now has seven living rooms with a total of four tiled stoves and two kitchen stoves, one in conjunction with a baking oven.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      The 1907 fire insurance policy lists three buildings instead of two, and the new one seems to be the one insured at the highest value. It should therefore be the brand new pink house on the farm. This supports that it would have been built in 1904.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
