According to Lars Axén’s investigations, this yard on the Västra Långgatan street #11 would have been built as early as 1751. The builder would have been the merchant Cristopher Molin, who was then the owner of plot no. 26 in the third block.
According to the fire insurance letters, however, the buildings are from 1824 and 1842. According to the 1967 building inventory the oldest parts of the house are probably older than what is mentioned in the fire insurance letters, perhaps from the beginning of the 19th century or the 18th century.
The house in its current form along Västra Långgatan is not included in the city plan that the surveyor Bergentin made in 1751.
